Ramadan Night 20 - The Fifth Entry

O ye who believe!
Let not some men
Among you laugh at others:
It may be that
The (latter) are better
Than the (former):
Nor let some women
Laugh at others:
It may be that
The (latter) are better
Than the (former):
Nor defame nor be
Sarcastic to each other,
Nor call each other
By (offensive) nicknames:
Ill-seeming is a  name
Connoting wickedness,
(To be used of one)
After he has believed:
And those who
Do not desist are
(Indeed) doing wrong.
S.49 A.11

Wow, how much more clearly can it be said?  The words match the goodness that had been once planted in my heart, the goodness I grew to ignore and obfuscate with my vapid and glib intellect, my pitiful insecurities, and my jealous, constricted heart.  How gracious of God to call it out again, how patient of one so undeserving as I?
